We were pleased to support a wine tasting by the Zambartas Winery which was held at the Londa Hotel on December 15th.
The Zambartas Winery is one of the rising stars of the New Wine scene. The Winery was started by Akis Zambartas in 2006 to launch a new generation of wines crafted from native Cypriot and international grape varieties.
Now managed by Markos and Marleen Zambartas, the Winery has established a reputation as one of the best in Cyprus. In 2015, it won 5 awards at the Decanter World Wine Awards, and in May 2016 won 6 medals at the Cyprus Wine Awards.
On December 15th, some 70 guests gathered at the Londa Hotel in Limassol for a wine tasting featuring Marcos Zambartas and Marleen Zambartas Brouwer of the Zambartas Winery.
We tasted a full range of Zambartas wines, including the 2016 Xynisteri and the 2015 Single Vineyard Xynisteri, Semillon-Sauvignon Blanc, Rose, Maratheftiko and Epicurean.
We have worked with both the Londa Hotel and Zambartas Winery in the past, and look forward to supporting both organisations in the future.
