Mr. Theo Panagopoulos joined Navigator Consulting as Partner for Middle East and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). Theo is an experienced manager and sales professional with an extensive background in human resources management and shipping.
Theo began his career in 1992 the international shipping sector, working in fuel bunkering as a senior trader and division manager in Greece and Lebanon. He subsequently represented a consortium of 6 shipyards in China, Poland, Croatia and Turkey, providing ship repair and building services to over 300 ship owners and groups world-wide.
In 2013, he relocated to Dubai, where he was established a specialised recruitment desk for a boutique firm specializing in Shipping and Maritime sectors. This led to his appointment to lead an Oil and Gas recruitment firm, managing a team of 4 talent resourcers as Director of Operations.
In 2015, Theo established a new, senior executive search recruitment firm in Dubai which subsequently merged with a larger firm.
Based in Dubai, Theo will be responsible for marketing, sales and client relationship management in the Middle East and GCC region. This includes consultancy services provided under Navigator Consulting, and investment promotion services under NavInvest Greece.
Navigator provides investment consulting, investment promotion and advisory services to financial investors and companies world-wide. It excels at commercial due diligence, business planning, financial analysis, financial forecasting, risk analysis and post-merger support and integration services. To date, Navigator has advised on over 150 projects with a total invested value of € 6 billion.
Theo’s appointment strengthens Navigator’s presence in the critical Middle East and GCC region. He is a welcome addition to our team.
