Philip Ammerman appointed Start-up Mentor by the SAP / BANA Start-up Factory in Yerevan, Armenia

Yerevan, Armenia: 24 August 2021

The SAP Startup Factory is an acceleration program designed for B2B startups to help them conquer global markets.

SAP professionals, international mentors, as well as industry specific mentors will be actively engaged in the program based on the specific needs of the startup.

The ultimate goal of SAP Startup Factory in Armenia is to guide selected startups to SAP Store, where they will gain access to the biggest B2B customer base. Startups will also have access to SAP Learning Hub which will unlock vast resources gained and developed by SAP.

The partnership between SAP and BANA has become possible due to the support of the EU4Business “Innovative Tourism and Technology Development for Armenia’’ project, which is co-funded by the European Union and the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by German Development Cooperation GIZ through the Private Sector Development and TVET South Caucasus Programme.

The project is part of the EU4Business initiative of the European Union.

Philip will be mentoring four start-ups in Armenia. The wider process of start-up and entrepreneurial mentoring is an urgent and vital part of transforming our economies and societies into forward-looking, technologically-agile entities. Without a systematic way of moving forward, Europe risks losing ground to better-funded or better-organised entities.

We are also pleased to be supporting entrepreneurs in Armenia, a country that has contributed so much to the world, and who’s diaspora has played such a great role globally.
