The European Consulting Network (ECN) is an online business intelligence and professional cooperation platform. We provide an online forum for business opportunities, contracts, recruitment notices and grants from the European Union as well as other bilateral and multilateral organisations such as the World Bank and United Nations. Today we have over 7,300 members from 160 countries.


In order to strengthen our team, we are recruiting a Community Manager, to be based in Kaunas, Lithuania. This is a part-time (4 hours per day) position.


Role


The role of the Community Manager is to:

  1. Engage ECN Members to solicit their involvement in specific issues or surveys, and to draw their attention to important conferences or opportunities.

  2. Identify and share news by ECN members, as well as recruitment opportunities and other information.

  3. Generate interest in ECN By Invitation, getting Members to provide articles

  4. Communicate with strategic clients such as universities, research centres, and major consultancies.

  5. Communicate with EU institutions and agencies to generate additional involvement, i.e. to share news, post events, contribute articles, etc.

  6. Share ECN news, events and opportunities across our platform as well as our social media network.


Qualifications


The Community Manager will be:

  • Fluent in English: all work involves writing, reading and speaking English

  • Self-motivated, able to maintain a high energy level and enthusiasm

  • Committed to international cooperation

  • Able to identify and share key information relating to specific client groups

  • Able to understand specific client requirements

  • Able to communicate professionally with multiple client types and cultures.

  • The Community Manager will work together with our two analysts in Kaunas under the direction of our two Managing Partners.


Work takes place in central Kaunas at a Coworking space, or from home. Communication with the ECN Community will take place on the ECN Platform (online), or over LinkedIn and Twitter.
