Sixteen small enterprises from Cyprus completed the Digital Project Management and Enterprise Transformation training programme which took place in Nicosia, Cyprus, on 14-15 November.
The training attracted a multi-sectoral audience, including tourism, property, manufacturing, confectionery, web design, marine, accounting, legal and shipping firms.
The competitive environment in Cyprus today is becoming more intense, with domestic and international competition affecting all aspects of company operations, ranging from prices and consumer demand, to staff availability and supply chain management. These wider competitive trends are magnified by the impact of digital transformation.
In order to compete today, Cypriot managers must master three related disciplines:
Digital Transformation: How organisations and teams change around a customerfocussed, technology-driven, 24/7/365 environment;
Digital Project Management: How executives manage diverse teams with internal and external stakeholders and vendors to deliver digital and ICT projects;
Vendor Management: How executives will manage external suppliers of digital and ICT services, such as web designers, online advertisers, SEO specialists, and others.
The Digital Project Management training is following by full-day consultancy visits to each participating company. Visits are currently underway, and will end in January 2018.
We would like to thank all of the participants, as well as the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce & Industry and the Human Resources Development Authority of Cyprus, for participating in, organising and supporting the event.
