Fifteen Cypriot small enterprises completed the two-day Online Growth Strategies training programme, organised by the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce & Industry and Navigator Consulting at the Hilton Park Hotel in Nicosia, Cyprus.
The objective of the programme was to explore how small firms and start-ups can interact with investment partners in order to:
Implement a business analysis and financial / operational modelling of their online business growth.
Develop online growth tools such as social media promotion and advertising, search engine marketing, search engine optimisation, content marketing, display advertising, email marketing, conversion rates, click-through rates, advertising spend ROI and related methods.
Interact with a variety of investment partners such as angel investors, venture capital firms, private equity partners, banks and other financing partners to take advantage of innovative or other market opportunities.
A key element of the training included development of dynamic modelling based on a case study as well as templates designed for adaptation by each company.
The companies included a cross-section of start-ups and firms from Cyprus, including:
Travel and tourism firms
Accounting and audit firms
Legal firms
Importers and distributors
Retailers
Property development firms
Consultancies
Software developers
The 2-day training is now being followed by consultancy visit to each company.
