The Yellow House Cyprus
Investment Advisory
Navigator Consulting has advised on the sale of The Yellow House, a historic mansion in Limassol, Cyprus, dating to 1875. The property was purchased by a cultural foundation, and will be renovated into a modern cultural and events centre. The new owner is committed to a full renovation, ensuring that this architectural gem lives on into the future.
Located across from the Ayia Napa Cathedral, the building was constructed in 1917 with a distinctive triangular shape. The architecture features elements of French baroque and European eclecticism. It was designed by Zacharias Vondas, a Greek architect who designed many Limassol landmarks at the time.
The building originally served as a residence. In 1960, it was converted to office space for the Limassol Water Board. It became known as The Yellow House due to a café / restaurant which used to operate there in the 1960s.
