Navigator Consulting Partners participated in a presentation of the InterCom Project at the Global Entrepreneurship Week in Poznan, Poland.

Global Entrepreneurship Week is the world’s largest campaign to promote entrepreneurship. Each year, it plays a critical role in encouraging the next generation of entrepreneurs to consider starting up their own business. Founded in 2008, the Week takes places in 143 countries around the world.

From the 16-22 November, Global Entrepreneurship Week inspires people everywhere through local, national and global activities designed to help them explore their potential as self-starters and innovators. These activities, from large-scale competitions and events to intimate networking gatherings, connect participants to potential collaborators, mentors and even investors—introducing them to new possibilities and exciting opportunities.

In Poznan, the first day of Global Entrepreneurship Week included a full day dedicated to entrepreneurship and open innovation.

The InterCom Project focuses on developing the internationalisation and commercialisation capabilities of European Business Clusters. Started in early 2014, InterCom is developing an online Learning Management Platform with training courses on subjects such as:

  • Online marketing

  • Commercialisation activities

  • Internationalisation activities

  • Negotiation skills

  • Project management

All courses have been specifically adapted to the needs to European business clusters, and have been tested in Poland and Lithuania. The courses are in the English language.

The InterCom Project is one of Navigator’s latest initiatives to support business networks and clusters. It builds on the experiences of the SeBPEN Project (2012-2013), our work with European Consulting Network, and the Navigator Entrepreneurship Charter.
