Online Marketing Cyprus Tourism
Twelve Cypriot tourism companies completed the CCCI / Navigator training course on Online Marketing in the Cyprus Tourism Sector in Paphos on Tuesday and Wednesday, 3-4 March 2015.
A total of 12 Cypriot tourism companies completed the CCCI / Navigator training course on Online Marketing in the Cyprus Tourism Sector in Paphos on Tuesday and Wednesday, 3-4 March 2015.
The 2-day training was organised by the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry, with the active and decisive support of the Paphos Chamber and financed by the Human Resources Development Authority of Cyprus.
Delivered by Philip Ammerman, the online training course focused on how hotels, travel agents, tour operators, spas, golf courses, villa rental firms and other tourism enterprises can use online marketing to promote their services. Key topics included:

Aligning online marketing strategy with corporate strategy and key performance metrics

Strategic selling, online sales funnel approaches, calls-to-action and conversion methods

Developing websites and website ecosystems that perform well in terms of search engine ranking

Keyword analytics and on-page SEO techniques for higher page ranking

Social media optimisation, including using Facebook, Google+, Google Maps, LinkedIn, and other platforms

Using free analytics tools, including Google Analytics and Google Webmaster Tools, to improve website performance

Using newsletters for client communications

Developing high quality content, including articles, photos and other applications.
The training is followed by full-day consultancy visits to each participating firm.

Z&X Group / Ayii Anargyri Spa and Resort: One of the few health and wellness spas in Cyprus featuring natural, sulphur-rich spring water. The spa and hotel were built in 2009 around the Ayii Anargyri Church, which was built in 1649 at the site where Saints Cosmas and Damianos operated a healing centre.
