A Navigator client is seeking EUR 1,990,000, representing 39% of equity, to develop a 494-unit, 14,180 m2 housing development in Bucharest, Romania. The Herastrau project will develop the first large-scale, purposeā€built student housing complex in central Bucharest, housing 506 students in 484 units.

Automotive Battery Commercial Due Diligence and Business Plan Verification Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Italy, France, Germany February - April 2011

Navigator implemented a due diligence and business planning project for Ukraine's second-largest automotive battery manufacturer. The project was implemented with the objective of securing a EUR 37 million loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). The project included a comprehensive automotive battery market analysis in Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Italy, France and Germany; a competitive analysis of battery production, pricing and segmentation; and a detailed investment risk analysis and financial sensititivity analysis.

Within the terms of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development's Local Private Sector Framework, Navigator implemented a commercial and technical verification of a major Ukrainian producer of steel wire parts, including low carbon wire, zinc-coated wire, steel bolts, nails and other products.

The rapid growth of the CIS agri-food sector requires adequate solutions for primary and secondary product packaging. The EBRD engaged Navigator to review the Ukrainian and Russian markets for glass packaging in light of existing and planned portfolio investments.
