Philip Ammerman
Born in Athens, Philip Ammerman studied Economic Geology and International Relations at Princeton University and Human Resources at Cornell. He began his consulting career with Kienbaum Consultants in New York, transferring to Dusseldorf, Germany in 1992. In 1995, he co-founded NAVIGATOR Consulting Group with two partners.
Philip focusses on the relationship between organisational effectiveness and human performance in the marketing and sales function. He supports companies in restructuring and developing market-oriented, competitive strategies. In 2005, he developed an innovative competency framework for sales professions, which is being applied in a number of companies around the world.
He has led and participated in over 100 projects in 43 countries since starting his consultancy career. His clients include the European Commission, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), ABB Ventilation Products, DS Smith Group plc, Sylvan Prometric, the International School of Management, and others.
Philip has worked in Cyprus since May 1993. His clients include the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce & Industry, the Cyprus Tourism Organisation, the Association of Cyprus Travel Agents, and a number of private clients.
Personal interests include sailing, mountain climbing, archaeology and travel. Philip speaks English, Greek, French and German.
